Hubrecht Organoid Technology (HUB) is a fast-growing, world leading biotech company on organoid technology. A paradigm shifting technology in health care and personalized medicine. Our team focuses on the discovery, development and (pre)clinical translation of technology to grow organoids from tissues of patients with various diseases including cancer. HUB builds comprehensive living biobanks of well-characterized organoids, sometimes called “mini-organs”, develops new Organoid technology and provides drug screening and evaluation of therapy. The HUB Organoid Technology enables predictive personalized diagnostics and medicine and patient stratification.
We are currently seeking a passionate HR Manager, for our staff of over 60 employees.
Scope of position:
The HR Manager at HUB is responsible for providing effective, professional and comprehensive Human Resources service to all departments. HUB offers a fast growing, dynamic environment, presenting challenges such as further developing and reviewing the HR processes to ensure they are fit for purpose. You collaborate and liaise with various internal as well as external partners. In addition you are responsible for some of the administrative tasks of HR such as the monthly payroll input to our partner.
You are the go to person for Managers and Employees when they seek advice and guidance on HUB’s policies and values. You work independently with a minimum of supervision. In this position your report directly to the CEO.

You represent HR and as stand alone, handle the full scope of the Employee journey from onboarding, talent management and offboarding. You develop and deliver appropriate training and coaching as required and support the development of human resource strategies in line with best practice and employment legislation.
As successful candidate is an energetic and ambitious person who has attention to detail and focusses on quality. The profile comes with:
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources, plus a minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience,
- Excellence at building your network with management and colleagues in the organisation,
- Solid knowledge of the Dutch labor laws,
- Capability of conflict mediation in a constructive manner,
- Fluency in Dutch and English, mastering excellent verbal & written communication skills,
- Good planning, prioritising and organisational skills,
- Ability to understand and analyse workforce information,
- Experience with AFAS is a must, experience with Dutch Works Council is a pre.
